HISTORY

Jeff Friedman founded our company back in 1976 when he opened Sherlock Private Investigation in Century City, California. He serviced over 300 clients consisting of law firms, insurance companies and private individuals. As a result of his body guarding of celebrities, Jeff was interviewed on a T.V news special along with Sylvester Stallone's bodyguard when John Lennon was assassinated.

Jeff was next seen on the 6 o'clock news when he solved an international kidnap case along with the F.B.I.

In 1979, Jeff opened Sherlock Recovery Services. From 1979 to 1986 Jeff earned himself quite a reputation for personally recovering vehicles that many others had tried and failed to recover before him. At the suggestion of his Attorney brother, Jeff wrote the one-and-only book ever written about repossession. The book is entitled "License to Steal, The True Adventures of Sherlock, The Repoman".

Immediately after the book was published, Jeff was contacted by T.V., radio, newspaper and magazine people from all over the world. To date, Jeff has been seen on over 10 different T.V. shows, including a T.V. pilot in Australia, CNN and a host of others; heard on 30 different radio shows all over the world including Tokyo, Japan, and read about in 17 different publications including Los Angeles Magazine, USA Today and the front page of the Los Angeles Times.

Finally, in October of 1997, Jeff signed an option agreement with a major motion picture company which is seriously considering a motion picture based on Jeff's book and life story as Sherlock, the Repoman. So keep an eye out for a motion picture about the true adventures of Sherlock, the Repoman.
